Instructions For The Intercom System
( Black Phones)

Visitors:

On arrival at the gate, you can contact the home owner via mobile phone or use the keypad to dial the intercom phone at the home you are visiting (all intercom phones have a 4-digit number):

• For home numbers 1 - 9 please key in '100' then the house number that you are visiting and press silver button.  Example - house #9 = 100+9 = Dial1009

• For home numbers 10 - 99 please key in '10' then the house number that you are visiting and press silver button. Example - house #87 = 10+87 = Dial1087

• For home numbers 100 - 250+ please key in "1" then the house number that you are visiting and press the silver Button. Example - house #176 = 1+176 = Dial 1176

Residents: 

To open gate for visitors either:

• Answer call and identify caller, if you wish to let them in, hang up the black phone and press the nominated key on the black phone keypad (bottom right).

  • Or, whilst on the call use the black phone keypad to dial gate code XXXX and have the visitor confirm that the gate has opened.

• Or, if you are speaking to the visitor via mobile phone, you can just press the nominated key on black phone keypad (bottom right) without using the hand piece.
